WE’LL BURY YOU (1962) Anti-Communist Propaganda One-Sheet, VERY RARE!

Independently produced by Jack Leewood and Jack W. Thomas and picked up for distribution by Columbia, WE’LL BURY YOU. Starting with Karl Marx and moving through the creation of the Soviet Union, Stalin’s reign of terror, World War II and Nixon and Khrushchev’s “kitchen table debate,” the film incorporated “rarely seen” footage of Lenin, Trotsky, and other historical figures. Narration was performed by William Woodson.

The film’s release was a case of fortuitous timing, coming out during the Cuban Missile Crisis, which only added to its “sleeper” status. VARIETY called it “an adroit and enterprising job of compilation and execution.”

Columbia concocted a sensational exploitation campaign, reflected in the one sheet – RED. . . OR DEAD! It represents a great piece of history from the early 1960s and tells us volumes about the anxieties of the era. Very rare. The film is unavailable and is generally assumed to be lost.

CONDITION: The poster is in generally very fine condition with a few pin/staple holes, light edge and fold wear, etc. No tape. See the pics.

The buy-it-now price represents auction activity on the title over the last several years. Or make me a reasonable offer on this rare piece.
