Monumental neo-Gothic bookcase (formerly Babelsberg Castle) mid-19th century.

Solid, knot-free oak throughout. Profiled single-slide frame base on bent-up block feet. Tall rectangular, two-door, three-quarter glazed body flanked by fluted, turned solid columns. Including different initials. The entire showcase is a Gothic architecture with a rectangular tower, framed on the side by pinnacles and eyelashes standing at the corner. Richly decorated with Gothic ornamental carvings.

Excellent warm patina that has grown over decades. Age-related signs of wear.

Comes from a Berlin estate. Due to the circumstances, we would like to point out that the furniture we offer is generally furniture that has been in use for 80 - 300 years and therefore cannot be in new condition. Please refer to the detailed pictures for the condition.
