On either side there are slightly tapered pilasters terminating in carved bronze caryatids and three drawers with brass fittings and handles. Straight writing surface with gold-embossed leather insert, behind it richly divided secretarial divisions. Top made of green marble with off-white grain, underneath a wide drawer.
