Louis XV Napoleon III style secretary Paris, circa 1850-1880. In Bois-Satiné-veneer, mirror veneer all around with rocailles. With very finely chased, highly decorative, reserved fire-gilt bronze fittings. Rosewood veneered on solid beech wood. Powerfully curved, four-sided passively curved three-bar frame with wide knee patches on elegantly curved boxes in sabots. Slightly projecting table top with a fantastically curved, profiled bronze frame. Very nice corner fittings. Cover plate covered with dark leather.
