    This like new, excellent condition Dash 8 diesel locomotive was made in 1992 by Lionel Electric Trains and represents the Santa Fe Railroad.   It has almost ZERO track time and comes complete with its original manufacturers' storage cox, that is in pristine condition.  Also included is a Styrofoam insert that protects this diesel in transit and when not in use.  The previous owner has taken well care of this unit and, in my opinion, it may have been test run only.  There are no scratches, scrapes or rubs anywhere on this unit.  I have bench tested it and it runs strongly in forward and reverse and all lights are in working order.

    The life and performance of this locomotive depends, to a considerable extent, upon proper care and lubrication of the motor, trucks and other moving parts.  As with all used locomotives, I do recommend a thorough cleaning and complete lubrication periodically and before initial use.  A small amount of oil and lubricant, properly applied, goes a long way towards long life and great performance.
