Someone asked so here's an update: as you can see the lens still fires and retains EXIF data (see the back of my R3 screen, took it this morning) also, the rattling I heard was a screw I managed to get out please see photo. There might be something still rattling around. Again, sold as is, broken, missing parts, etc, but this gives a clearer idea of what you would get. I will package the screw in a separate bag within the box.
