Maynard Ferguson Lead Trumpet Mouthpiece FBL TXS in Silver!

This is a vintage lead trumpet mouthpiece model made for Maynard Ferguson in the 1960's by famous english mouthpiece maker Jack Bell, when Mr. Ferguson was living and working in England. Together they created the Ferguson-Bell Limited (FBL) mouthpiece series, which he is said to have used for the original recording of "Mac Arthur Park". This model has the shallowest cup out of the FBL series made by LegendsBrass. The mouthpiece features a very comfortable rim with a soft bite and v-shaped cup, the design which Maynard Ferguson used for most of his career.

The beautiful vintage outside shape doesn't have a lot of excess mass, making it versatile enough for playing different types of music, while providing the player with the important edge for solo and lead parts! The mouthpiece is silver-plated.
