The goal of Listen magazine was to provide a vigorous, positive, education approach to the problems arising out of the use of tobacco, alcohol and narcotics. In the very beginning this magazine was published by the American Temperance Union and eventually was taken over by the Seventh Day Adventists denomination--(just in case you wanted to know)
