Beautiful set of Homer Laughlin dinnerware from August 1948 from the Newell OH factory where several family members worked.  It came from the estate of my wife's uncle William Thompson and is a very rare Virginia Rose 22K gold trim pattern with scalloped and flared edges.  Virginia Rose is normally a painted floral motif on white, but the floral patterns on these eight 5 3/8" dessert bowls and eight 6.25" bread plates (16 total) are raised and were part of the actual mold, plus it is ivory in color.  They are in nice condition and will be packed carefully.  We will also have other listings with plates, bowls, etc.. from this same Homer Laughlin pattern and will cut a deal on shipping and price for anyone interested in multiple listings.  Local pickup is encouraged but they will be packed safely.
