Fender 1957 Duo Sonic Light Beige

Description

1957 DuoSonic

Along with the Music Master, the DuoSonic began production in mid-1956 as a student model in sizes 3 and 4.
This is a distinctive piece with a bright beige finish, which is the earliest coloring, and an anodized pickguard.

The difference from MusicMaster is that it has a logo on the head and two pickups.
Unlike the Mustang released in later years, the tailpiece is fixed, so there is relatively less tuning deviation and more sustain.

The head is Strat style, with a DuoSonic decal attached to the spaghetti logo.
The front pickup is original, black bobbin, and the rear has been replaced.
Replaced the peg with a Krewson type without markings.
The 5-6 strings have no grooves, and the 1-4 strings have spiral saddles.

A valuable PreCBS and 50's Fender!
