This is a show-stopper of a runner, a vintage handmade tribal piece in mint condition with a unique and hard to find orange and blue color palette and spectacular tribal details.  This is a very fine quality rug, with high quality wool and fine and precise details from its high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch).  The burnt orange open field creates a striking setting for the intricate geometric medallions that run down the center of the runner and are adorned in symmetrical tribal accents in spectacular and vivid colors.  Royal blue anchor-like designs are at either end of the runner's royal blue outline that surrounds and connects the medallions in the center of the rug. Bright orange, yellow, indigo blue,  purple and white form the centers of the three medallions that resemble large tribal flowers with strawberry red and silver large petals decorated with small tribal flowers and other designs.  These are the accent colors that complement the orange and blue canvas.  Thin rows of white diamonds connected by thin lavender lines frame the central design, leading to a thick royal blue frame with its own tiny white diamond rows. The final border is another truly special part of the rug, a strawberry red thick row of gorgeous tribal flowers on the vine in all of the rug's amazing colors, adding a bright teal blue and pale mint green to the color palette.  Hand-knotted in the 1980's, this runner is in mint condition. It has a notably dense, thick, soft and sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last generations. All colors are made with only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Size: 4'x12'2"
