Vintage Baikal Shotgun / Rifle Bakelite Butt Pad \ Heel Recoil Plate This pad is in NEW never been fitted.
In fact the edges need smoothing where they haven't been 100% finished after leaving the mould tool
It is the Baikal "red" colour (picture makes it look black but it isn't)
It is about 5 inches or 127mm long across the back
It is about 1 11/16 inch or 43mm at the widest point.
And is about 5/16 inch or 7mm thick / deep in the middle
It is flat across the back, NOT curved
This could make a gun fit better or help to reduce the recoil.....
AN OPERERTUNITY TO GET AN ORIGINAL NEW SPARE THAT YOU MIGHT NOT SEE AGAIN
