Platinum matched pair (two tubes) of rare Philips E80CC / 6085 made in famous Eindhoven plant in 1954.

This is early old FOIL D getter type with PINCHED WAIST glass bulbs and it's much better sounding than later types, not even to mention Tungsram / Siemens version.

NOS in worn out boxes, carefully tested and matched.

They are made by Philips in 1954, Eindhoven tube plant (4 code).

Exactly the same etched codes!!! WK5 446F. The codes printed on the tops of bulbs: 27F

They are carefully tested and matched on calibrated Mutrix U61B tester with 250V on plates and -6V on grids and results are:

4.7/4.8 mA

4.8/4.6 mA

Value for 100% NOS tube is 4.8mA at this voltages!

Tested in my preamp too to be confirmed they are perfect in every way.

These tubes are extremely rare in NOS NIB condition with balanced and matched sections, so this pair is the real gem!

If you are looking at this listing, you surely know that this tube could be ultimate sub for ECC82 / E82CC / ECC802S / 12AU7 / 12AU7WA / 5963, as I personally checked in few amps and preamps, but please do not ask me about warranties how they will sound in your devices.

You can found more info about them at my page about these tubes: www.tubes.rs/e80cc-6085-philips-double-triode-made-in-holland/

As is, what you see is what you get.
