Offered for your consideration is a vintage Definitive Technology 4½ inch poly cone woofer that was original equipment in my ProCenter 100 center channel speaker, USA-manufactured in 1999. It may also be correct for other Definitive speakers from this production era such as the ProCinema 80, but the buyer is responsible for assessing its suitability for any other application.

This Definitive woofer is in clean, excellent condition. It has a flawless poly cone and perfect dustcap. Plus, the surround is permanent rubber and the video-shielded magnet structure looks great as well. Also, the black-enameled cast steel basket has no dings or scratches. And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this burly little woofer looks practically new!
Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds terrific with fast, detailed midrange and stout low end for the platform size. Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 6.1-6.3Ω, consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the basket measures 4⅛” across (4⅞” from corners), it stands about 2¾” tall (incl. the surround roll), and the mount holes are spaced 3¼” adjacent / 4½” on the diagonal apart, c-t-c.
