Martin OM-28V 2007

Description

MartinOM-28V 2007

Martin OM-28V Made in 2007.
The OM series is a model that combines a triple O-size body with a standard Martin scale neck.

The model that has arrived this time is a model that was part of the vintage series that existed in the past.
Features include body binding, long saddle, and slightly wider nut width.
All of these are characteristics of old Martins.

The triple O-size body familiar from Eric Clapton models is made of standard Martin wood materials, including a spruce top, rosewood sides, and back.
It has a fairly thin body and is not that big, so it can be held easily.
Because the Dreadnought has more volume, it is often said that the Triple O is better suited for fingerpicking and the Dreadnought is better suited for strokes with a pick, but this model is somewhere in between.

The history of the OM series is quite long, and in 1929, at the request of a famous banjo player, the OM-28 was first completed with a 14th fret joint and long scale, which became Martin's basic specifications.
This specification then becomes Martin's basic specification.
As mentioned above, the neck is a soft V shape that is a little wide and flat. The impression is similar to the neck of a Clapton model.
The feel of this neck may be mainly for finger picking rather than chord strokes.
It does not have a pickup, so you can enjoy the honest sound of the body.
