2001 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus Blue with exquisite heather grain.
This is a Yamano Gakki from the time that came with it, and it has PlusBlue written on it, and it has a dark blue body, which is rare among Gibson USA models, made with generous use of high-grade wood, and a modest but neat heathered grain. This is a suitable book.
The well-used scratches give it a dignified quality that cannot be achieved when brand new.
The Classic was a popular model at the time with a strong return to vintage style, and as the name suggests, it followed traditional specifications, with a mahogany back, maple top, and Krewson type pegs, making it reminiscent of the 1960s Les Paul. A thin mahogany neck and a dark rosewood fingerboard, the wood materials of the golden era Les Paul.
Since the pickguard is a plus top, there are no holes drilled into the body and it is in the state before installation.
The pickup is an open spec 496R 500T with Gibson USA stamped on the back, and the electrical system remains original.
This model is popular among hard/heavy-minded guitarists due to its classic Gibson sound and ease of play due to its slim neck! !
