Vintage, Pre-owned, Antique Ansonia Mantle Clock with Cast Iron Slate metal housing. Read all of description as this clock is listed and selling for restoration or parts and is not returnable. 
Housing is a cast iron slate metal that is black with some paint worn off. There is some gold painted designs and markings along sides and front sides that could be from missing design pieces. There are no "feet" on this clock (other similar ones showed feet, so they are missing as well).  The housing of clock is approx. 11 1/4" wide x 9" tall x 5 3/4" deep. The back has an access door that clips on a small post and swings open via a leather strap and posts. The upper back panel can be removed (has 3 of the 4 screws), and on the inside this panel has numbers 132 stamped in upper right corner.  The overall condition of the metal housing is worn and dull paint, worn and missing gold paint accents, dusty, dirty and some surface rust due to age and storage. Weight is approx. 14 1/4 lbs. 
The mechanics are marked as "Ansonia Clock Co., New York, USA" , "Patented June 18, 1882", and "5".  See short video of the clock movements; hands were slowly moved from 1:30 (half hour chime) to 2:00 (hour chime 2 times). The clock keeping time Was Not Tested. The key found inside the clock is in photos. The face of the clock is brittle, has missing pieces, worn spots, dirty glass door cover, lose hands.
