Russian Comfrey Crown and Root Cuttings Bocking #14

(Symphytum × uplandicum)

Grown naturally and organically on my Kansas farm, freshly dug and will look similar to the root cuttings and crowns pictured.

This comfrey grows very easily from root cuttings and crowns, either plant them in pots or directly in the ground where you want them and keep them watered until they are growing and established. Bury the root cuttings an inch deep and the crowns should be planted so the leaves are just above the soil surface.

*Please Note*
The crown cuttings are the top part of the roots and have leaves starting to grow from them as seen in the pictures. The root cutting are approximately 2 inches long and have no leaves. The crowns will grow faster since they are already growing leaves while the root cutting will take a few weeks to grow into plants.

The seeds of Russian comfrey are sterile so it will not self seed and become a weed problem but, it is easy to propagate more plants by digging and moving root cuttings from established plants.

I will gladly combine shipping with other purchases, add items to cart and if the shipping doesn't automatically adjust then request a combined invoice before paying and I will calculate the postage fairly.
