Gibson DOVE 1969

Description

The flagship model "Dove" is impressive with its dignified appearance and tasteful inlay PG. Gibson's first square-shoulder model, the Hummingbird, was sold well, so it was decided to release it in 1962, but when we opened the lid, we discovered that its production scale was very small. This is a DOVE from the final transition period of VINTAGE, made in 1969 in natural color. Spruce top, maple sides and back with a slightly exotic and beautiful heather, maple neck with flame heather, Jacaranda fingerboard and adjustable bridge, Schaller pegs, pearl dub inlay screw pickguard, crown head inlay, double parale Logram fingerboard inlays, non-scalloped bracing, regular neck. You can only enjoy the compression, extension, and firm sound that is different from Tune-o-matic at this time of year. It's one that gives you a solid sense of volume, and you can only enjoy the compression, extension, and firm sound that you can get from a tune-o-matic. A strap pin has been installed on the left shoulder of the body, and cracks have been repaired on both sides of the top board next to the fingerboard and on the upper right side of the bridge, but it is in good condition with few scratches or dents. The pickguard is also in good condition, and the weather check throughout gives it a vintage feel. This is a good condition piece with a rough, unique, powerful sound and tasteful looks. Comes with original or 70's GIBSON hard case.
