Please
look at the multiple pictures of every angle I have provided, in high

luck finding another sale where this much detail is disclosed!
The Machine Gun Defense Unit is a quick pre-fab kit that the Gi Joe team can assemble around an area they wish to fortify in a hurry. It consists of several tripod barricades (good for creating confined spaces and denying tanks entry), a rather large and obvious sign indicating that you are now in a Restricted Area, and that you should stay clear, and of course the eponymous machine gun.
The gun provided for the Machine Gun Defense Unit kit is a 750 rpm EX-344 universal, 50 caliber machine gun. This gun can be fired in short, controlled bursts or full-auto in a pinch for the ultimate in shooting damage. It also comes with a box full of spare ammunition belts, so the operator of the Machine Gun Defense Unit can fire for a long time if needed.

Meyers
was Valedictorian of his high school class, captain of the track
team, and an Eagle scout. He was going for his degree in Phys. Ed. on
a state scholarship when he suddenly dropped out, moved to the coast,
and became quite weird for about three years. He was standing on the
boardwalk in Venice pondering something cosmic when the utter
pointlessness of his existence hit him between the eyes like a
runaway freight train. "I think I'll join the Army," he
said, and promptly did. Took basic and AIT at Fort Benning, graduated
jump school and desert training unit. Qualified expert all NATO and
Warsaw Pact small arms.
"Some of the Joes think that
Footloose is out there, but all he's trying to do is find himself.
He's an All-American Boy who got lost on the way to the fair and he's
simply trying to go home any which way he can. Most folks think they
know who they are and where they're going.. . They're the dangerous
ones!"
Andrew is the kind of fellow that has always strived for purpose in life. He works hard at everything he does, but he doesn't always seem sure what he wants. He has been an Eagle scout, the captain of his high school track team and of course his high school Valedictorian. He was riding a state scholarship to a degree in physical education when a switch flipped in his head, and Andrew just 'disappeared'. Wandering to the West Coast, Andrew grew 'quite weird' for several years, searching desperately for a purpose in life - finally realizing that he had none.
Deciding right then and there to change that, Andrew enlisted in the Army, and quickly became one of that service's most distinguished infantrymen. Trained in Fort Benning before receiving advanced training in jump school and desert warfare, Andrew was eventually recruited onto the G.I. Joe team. When he first arrived at the Pit, Andrew was pulled off by Wild Bill to help him pick up some cargo, a seemingly simple task that escalated into a full-blown conflict with the Crimson Guard and its leaders, Tomax and Xamot, during which Andrew put the Armadillo through its paces.
After this, Andrew went on to participate in a large number of missions against Cobra, including the Joe team's infamous invasion of Springfield. With his capabilities repeatedly on display, Andrew was chosen to join a special G.I. Joe team, known as Slaughter's Marauders - led by the Sarge himself. This squad of heavy hitters were designed as a sort of 'first wave' team of Joes to take on Cobra directly - even more so than the Joes already did. He served in this capacity until the Joes were disbanded after a series of victories against those terrorist maniacs.
