THE KEYPAD DOES NOT STORE THE COMBINATION. THE COMBO IS STORED IN THE LOCK BODY(SOLD SEPARATELY). WHEN PLUGGING THIS KEYPAD INTO A LOCK BODY, THE MANAGER CODE AND USER CODE WILL BE WHAT IS PROGRAMMED TO THAT SPECIFIC LOCK BODY.
SINCE THIS IS A NEW KEYPAD WITH THE OLDER BATTERY CHANGE STYLE, IF USING THE KEYPAD WITH AN OLDER LOCK BODY THAT YOU CURRENTLY HAVE, YOU MAY HAVE TO SWITCH THE DIP SWITCHES ON THE BACK OF THE KEYPAD IN ORDER TO WORK WITH LOCK BODIES THAT WERE MADE IN 2016 OR OLDER. PLEASE SEE THE TWO PICTURES DESCRIBING HOW THIS WORKS FROM SECURAM. YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE TO SWITCH THE DIP SWITCHES DEPENDING ON THE MANUFACTURER DATE OF THE LOCK BODY.
