A hand-turned wooden plate made from African Padouk by California Artist Paul E. Killinger (1927-1996).
Killinger was included in the craft show at the Pasadena Art Museum in1965 titled "California Design 9" that included Evelyn Ackerman, Paul Soldner, the Natzlers, Sam Maloof, and many more. He had 3 wooden bowls in the show. 

This plate is marked on the bottom with his stamp "Paul".
Excellent condition with no damage or significant wear.
The top was cleaned and oiled with Butcher's Block oil (food safe).
