Technology: Bondingabrasion resistant Powertex fabric is highly breathable, wind-and-waterproof, water repellent and durable; it is also light, soft and has a comfortable feel for the wearer, and with all these features, offers an excellent price/quality ratio. During aerobic activities, the Powertex membrane draws away from the body the moisture that is generated and evacuates it, distributing it on the fabric surface, reducing internal condensation and making the speed of the evaporation a lot faster; at the same time it prevents outside water to penetrate, therefore keeping the wearer warm, dry and comfortable. Powertex fabrics are available in two, two and a half, and three layers.

Applied on garments, this fluorine-free recipe allows a very good repellency of water and aqueous substances. Usually, durable hydrophobic finishes are based on fluorocarbon resins. This chemical is not degradable in the environment and is well-known for the damages it causes on plants and animals. Thanks to the nature of its molecules, BIONIC-FINISH® ECO is now our clean and effective alternative to fluorocarbon to make textiles hydrophobic. Our laboratory and field tests showed that this finishing is suitable enough as valid alternative to the usual DWR treatment.
