Dobro was founded in 1928 by brothers John and Rudy Dopiera, the creators of the National Resonator guitar.
It features a bowl-shaped resonator design on a single cone, which produces a louder and straighter sound than a tri-cone. It was supported by players of American music such as blues, country, and bluegrass, and became one of the two major resonator guitar brands along with National.
The model that has arrived this time is the Model 90 Duolian, which is believed to have been manufactured in 1994 after being acquired by Gibson.

There is some cloudiness on the body, scratches and peeling of the paint on the back of the neck, and wear on the low-position frets, but considering the model year, it is in relatively good condition.
After it arrived at our store, we made adjustments to the high position and expanded the truss rod pocket.
Also, since there was no room for a truss rod, we will include a box wrench that has been processed to make it easier to adjust the neck.
The neck is slightly curved on the 6th string side, and the 1st string side is generally straight, but overall it tends to be a little high.
Since we are rubbing it together, there is currently no chatter or sound clogging.
The string height above the 12th fret is set at approximately 2.5mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.0mm on the 1st string, and the playability is good.
Since it's been around 30 years since it was manufactured, the way the neck sounds has become a bit more mature, and even when played with a slide, it produces a thick sound typical of a brass body.
