This classic stag chest of drawers is a perfect example of mid century furniture with a modern twist. Like all stag furniture, it is solid, well made and highly sought after.
The unit has been carefully prepped and primed, then painted using 3 coats & finally finished with a clear matt varnish to create a durable finish. You can see the quality of work through the pictures and video provided.
The paint used is called Fusion Mineral paint, I have chosen the colour “Midnight Blue” which is a bold navy colour. Please see below for more information on Fusion.
The unit features the original brass hardware which has been restored to reveal a lovely gold colour which complements the blue paint wonderfully.
This unit has 4 deep drawers plus 3 smaller drawers for ample storage, one of which has the original stag label, shown in the pictures.

The paint I use; Fusion Mineral Paint, is a fantastic eco-friendly and high quality paint. Fusion paint itself is non-toxic, lead free, virtually odourless, low VOC (volatile organic compounds) and free of other chemicals commonly used in paint production, such as ammonia and formaldehyde. It is safety certified for use on children’s furniture and toys.
