Decals: This sheet contains decals for fifteen (15) United States Air Force (USAF) McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom aircraft, a F-4D serving with the 78th Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS), 81st Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW) based at RAF Woodbridge, Suffolk in 1977, a F-4D serving with the 78th TFW, 81st TFW based at RAF Woodbridge in 1977, a F-4D serving with the 91st TFS, 81st TFW based at RAF Woodbridge circa 1971, a F-4D serving with the 92nd TFS, 81st TFW based at RAF Woodbridge circa 1974, a F-4D serving with the 78th TFW, 81st TFW based at RAF Woodbridge in 1973, a F-4D serving with the 81st TFW based at RAF Woodbridge in 1966, a F-4D serving with the 48th TFW based at RAF Lakenheath in 1975, a F-4D serving with the 493rd TFS, 48th TFW based at RAF Lakenheath in 1976, a F-4D serving with the 48th TFW based at RAF Lakenheath flown by the Wing Commander pre August 1972, the initial Wing code allocated to the F-4 Phantoms after delivery to Lakenheath was LK however these codes conflicted with those of the 314th Tactical Airlift Wing (TAW), a C-130E Hercules unit based in the United States that regularly rotated to nearby Mildenhall, therefore the 48th TFW code was changed to LN, with only a few F-4Ds carrying the LN code for a week or so before, a F-4D serving with the 48th TFW based at RAF Lakenheath in 1975, a F-4D serving with the 48th TFW based at RAF Lakenheath flown by the Wing Commander in 1975, a RF-4C serving with the 10th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing (TRW) based at RAF Alconbury in 1967, a RF-4C serving with the 33rd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron (TRS), 10th TRW based at RAF Alconbury pre-1971, a RF-4C serving with the 1st TRS, 10th TRW based at RAF Alconbury in July 1985 finished in the Euro 1 camouflage scheme, a RF-4C serving with the 1st TRS, 10th TRW based at RAF Alconbury in 1970 and a RF-4C 1st TRS, 10th TRW based at RAF Alconbury in 1982 that took part in exercise Best Focus 1982.
Also includes a double sided A4 colour placement guide showing side, upper and lower profiles as well as images of the aircraft.
