- I believe copper provides a better crush/seal than the more common Aluminum. There is no concern of bimetalic corrosion since you should change your oil at least annually even if you run extended drain intervals. In this case, they will be replaced once a year and their environment tends to keep them coated in oil.
- With 10 pieces in the zip lock bag, you have plenty on hand and can keep them in your glove box. It is strongly recommended to replace these each time you change your oil, however with a good visual inspection, you can get more than one use out of these. I usually change mine every other oil change on my Audi A6 Avant.
