1940 Handmade Leaf Larger Wood Hanging Corner Shelf - Signed W. Oliver 1940
I would say this is in very good condition for its age
It is very sturdy

The shelf size that items set on is triangle in shape and roughly 7 inches x 7 inches x 13 inches.

This is a very nice item.
Wear and aging on it for being over 82 years old I feel is minimal.
It has be used but not abused in my view.
If you have a vintage or period home or farm home this looks nice hanging in a corner with items on it.
I at one time had a sting of pearls plant on this that hung down nearly to the floor. However to keep it
from getting water damaged I made a piece of rubber shelving insert that had like 2" lips on it and long since tossed.
It is not made to set on a table or etc. It was made to hang up.
This appears to be a one of a kind hand made.

As they have taken away my option of choice I have adopted the policy to each day check my listings and cancel any BUY IT NOW listings without bids one day earlier than set expiration date so it will not auto relist on eBay on its own. As I am just selling excess items I have stored over the years in most cases I will not relist an item on eBay more than once after it expires and sell it on other sites, donate it or make other choices regarding it. So if you see one of my BUY IT NOW listings, are watching an item of mine or have one of my items on a Esnipe system and then POOF it is no longer listed this is why. Why? Because I like old Vintage items. :0)
VINTAGE, RETRO, ANTIQUE & OLD ITEMS THEY ARE SO COOL
Please remember that Vintage and Antique items will show some wear, blemishes, and imperfections that they have acquired though the years. Old magazines, books, publications, booklets and manuals may come with wear, age spots & page discoloration. Some may have a slight age or other odor from aging. It's a natural process. I collect or have collected many Vintage items over the years and I personally feel this adds to their character, charm and shows that the background and history of the pieces as being authentically old and thus making them more in demand, collectable and desirable to those that enjoy and/or collect them. Remember that even a vintage item in really good condition is old and it may not function as well as when it was originally made. Plastic type and other items can change color and/or weaken over time because of light, pollutants, heat, humidity and other items in the air. So if you intend on using a Vintage item, please be aware of this, and be careful. We can not control how you use them. They may be more subject to breaking just because of the fact they are old. Yet other items were made better back then, then similar items made today, so you alone have to make your decision to buy and item or not. With that said when we are selling Vintage & Antique items we are selling them for collectors value, and likewise if you break an item after it is sold, this is not our fault, as vintage and antique items are usually old when we sell them. We strive to describe the item being sold as honestly as possible. We are not perfect and if we miss something we apologize in advance and just know it was not intentional. As with all the items we sell, we sell these items As IS and with all faults "if any".
