PLEASE BE SURE TO VIEW PICTURES AND REVIEW THE CONDITION DESCRIPTION! This is an old wood box with a hinged top - likely used to hold trinkets or jewelry possibly. I am not sure of its vintage - it was given to my wife by her great aunt who was born in the late 1800's or early 1900's. It measures in inches approximately 13W by 5D by 3H as you look at it with the opening facing you. While the casing is nailed from the bottom up into it, the curved hinges are attached with tiny screws. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, but please realize that my knowledge on this item is limited. Thanks for your interest!
