Sold mint in their original box, which is in fair-good condition (there may be minor dings, tears, creases and other small imperfections to the box; the figures are in perfect condition). Figures are about 2 3/8 inches tall. The figures are slightly painted - faces, facial hair and one hand!
Nevsky is a Russian national hero, canonized by the Orthodox church for his fight to keep Russian independence against invading armies from Sweden, the Mongols, Germany and Estonia. His victory in the battle of Lake Peipus, fought on the ice in 1242, was commemorated by this set.
