I tested the music player with 6 C cell batteries.  It works.  The battery terminals are clean.  I do not ship electronics with batteries.  I also plugged it in to test it and it works in the same way as it does with the batteries.  I tested a cd and it played just fine.  I noticed there is a white piece missing where the cd goes.  It didn't effect the playability.  I pressed the play/pause, stoop, rep, skip+ and skip- buttons.  They all worked.  I pressed the prog button but I didn't know what it did exactly.  I tested the fm/am button and it works.  It lights up for the power, fm, play, and rep options on the screen.  The screen works and shows the numbers.  The rotating wheels for tunning and volume work.  I found that clearer radio stations play louder, but swivel the volume wheel a bit and it fixes the noise level.  The open/close button works, but it doesn't open 100% unless you lift it a little (then it fully opens on its own).  I think this may be how it is engineered.  There are a few marks on the bottom but overall condition is pretty good.  No obvious sun damage which can yellow the plastic.  I did not test the headphone plug but I don't see why it wouldn't work considering everything else does.  The boom box is heavy and almost 3 lbs.
