Unused FULLY WORKING original military radiation signaling device from the resources of the Polish People's Army. The production of this model took place in the 70's and 80's. It is a simple device, the task of which is to inform us when the radiation concentration exceeds the selected threshold (the threshold is selected manually). After exceeding it, the red lamp lights up and we hear a very loud alarm.
The RS-70 signaling device is based on the Polish DOB-50 tube and works on four R20 batteries. The total weight of the device without batteries is approximately 1.5 kg.

Original task:
Indicates approximately the dose rate of radiation by light or acoustic signaling, if the dose exceeds the defined contamination thresholds, i.e. 0.5 R / h, 5 R / h, 30 R / h. If we set the switch to the threshold of 0.5R / h and we get a radiation signal, we have to switch to the value of 5R / h. If the signal stopped, the dose rate was slightly above the given value; if the frequency of the signals increases and becomes a continuous signal, the dose increases.
