Notes: Presented for sale is a rare 1960s full genuine alligator brogued NST loafer. While I cannot find a catalog entry for these shoes in Florsheim's 1969 catalog, these shoes are the brother to the very similar model 35007; this model the 35005 can be similarly dated to the 1960s. The size markings and date codes inside the shoes are very difficult to read, but the size remains legible under close inspection and is marked as "10 D". Presented in fair vintage condition, these shoes show scale separation at the creases at the sides of both shoes, normal for used alligator leather, and a tear to the alligator at the top of the back right heel. There is some surface wear to the binding leather around the foot opening of both shoes. The footbeds are not deeply imprinted and are in good condition. These shoes retain their original soles which are very firm to the press, the soles are both marked in sharpie as shown. The original heel toplifts have been replaced with a toplift similar in shape and type which is in excellent condition.
