Magnificent antique sterling silver hand mirror.

Made by Whiting Manufacturing Company. 

Desirable Dresden pattern (pat. 1896).

Fine Art Nouveau style ornate decoration, crisp details. 

American, circa 19th - early 20th century. 

Marked sterling, 5702. Apparently no makers mark - guaranteed made by Whiting. 

No monogram or mono removal. 

   SIZE:

About 9 3/4 in. (24.8 cm) long and 5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm) wide.

   WEIGHT:

Total weight including glass is about 512 grams.

  CONDITION:

Silver is in very good original antique condition with minor charming indication of age. 

Light handling marks and very minor expected dents to silver.

Age related imperfections on the back of glass mirror.

No previous restoration. 

VERY DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH ITEM - ALL DARK SPOTS THAT APPEAR IN THE PICTURES ARE JUST A REFLECTION.
