This interesting postcard by Dinah has a WWII Home Front theme, and in particular, travel restrictions.  It depicts a girl, boy and little dog at a ticket office at a railway station.   It has a caption which reads "Nothing Doing."  The publisher is Raphael Tuck.  Postally used and dated 16th June 1945 - I think the card dates to a bit earlier.  Patriotic message from the Prime Minister printed on reverse.   Please note this is an ORIGINAL item, NOT a replica.   An excellent card for a collection.

The card is in a Very Good minus condition.  Rubs at corners, creases at right hand corners, small crease at bottom left hand corner, tiny bits of surface paper loss at corners, some light grubbiness to borders, some light marks from a postmark to background, the odd other very small and tiny mark to background of card, edge rubs with the odd tiny bump, some light browning / grubbiness, and the odd very small and tiny mark on reverse.  Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.

Note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote. Postage quoted will cover up to six postcards.

I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me. Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectable items.
