2006 GMC SIERRA 2500HD / 2WD / 6.0L GAS MOTOR / 4L80E Transmission

I have owned this pickup for around 9 years and she's never let me down.  It's just been a good reliable truck but it's a gas truck and I needed a diesel for the type of work I'm in so she just sits and collects red dirt here Oklahoma.

The Basics:

The Engine and Chassis have 237,690 miles on them.  I bought it when it had nearly 170K and put the remaining miles on it.  I've towed with it once and she did great.  All other miles are driving around town as it was my daily driver for a few years.

Neither the engine nor the transmission have ever been rebuilt.  It's honestly a miracle that they never have but at 237K, I can imagine the 4l80e could use a refresh, It hasn't given me any issues yet but I've been easy on it.

The 6.0L runs great with plenty of power.  Every once in a while a lifter will tap or get stuck whatever you want to call it but that's intermittent and hasn't seemed to get any worse or better. I have installed a high output Mechman Billet Alternator on it, it has a aftermarket CompCamps Aluminum LSX Intake, A new throttle body, Airraid Cold Air intake tube and Stainless Works Stainless Steel Headers, those alone are $1000.  I don't know why I put all that stuff on it but I'm a car guy and like to upgrade. The engine has never been tuned but would likely run even better with a light tune in it from all the upgrades.

The Cat has been removed from the exhaust so it's a straight pipe with the stock muffler.

A Sony head unit has been installed to replace the factory head unit.  The interior has seen better days but it's been a work truck so is what it is. The carpet was replaced once in it's life and is relatively clean. Everything works in terms of power windows, seats, locks etc. Factory speakers stick put out good sound.

The shocks have been replaced with KYB Mono Maxes and the rear shock shackles have been upgraded with $600 Sulastic Shackles which I'd recommend to anyone with these trucks, it smoothed out the ride tremendously.  The tires are brand new with less than 10 miles on them, they aren't high dollar tires but they are new. The truck actually rides fantastic for a 2500hd. A fresh alignment has been serviced so it drives straight as a string.  Sway bar bushings and endlinks have been replaced with Energy Suspension polyurethane pieces.

The differential is limited slip from the factory.

The A/C blows cold and the heat blows hot.

The brakes are good and were always regularly serviced.

Battery has been replaced within 6 months.

The body and paint have seen better days but for being 18 years old she ain't that bad. I've never been in a wreck with her myself but I can tell it's had the front end painted at one point in her life.  I've also not noticed any bad body filler or rust spots, she's clean.

I own a service shop in Oklahoma here so it always received oil changes every 3000 miles and all maintenance points were kept up with including replacing ball joints, pitman arms, tie-rod ends etc. when needed be.

Title is Clean and Green.

I've been as transparent as possible, but feel free ask questions.

I'm listing it a little high for the mileage but I love this truck and you're willing to make offers. It's not perfect, what you see is what you get, she ain't gonna steal no ones girlfriend from nobody, but your neighbor will ask to borrow it lol.
