Michael Jordan won the championship wearing a pair of Jordan 6’s

He was photographed with a cigar in his mouth and a bottle of champagne in is hand- I added this photo.

Hence this relation to this 6 release shown “the cigar” also there was a green patent leather 6 released “the champagne”

Years later thus when this commemoration release was created

Paying tribute to Michael Jordan with this championship release

This is when Jordan’s was so limited on release I don’t even recall this being available online.

I was in a queue all night outside footlocker Oxford Street less than 20pairs available and personally I was in the top 10 in the queue.

That was one of the craziest releases which had to be shut down outside by the police because it got to hectic outside.

while I was inside and for the first 20 that got inside let in through the front and escorted out through the back by the police, you know who you are if you got pairs that day salute mission accomplished sneakers copped.

I will add a photo at a later date that was sent to me lots of real camp out / hours queue up sneakerheads will remember that it even had some problems across the road right after at 8am at Niketown
