Manuel & his brother Gaston opened their Paris studio in 1900. 

Manuel soon became known as the go to portrait photographer for local celebrities & those touring Paris. 

His portraits were sold as wire photos globally & even through his lengthy career he served as official photographer to the French government beginning in 1914.
