1958 Fender Duo Sonic in its original Desert Sand finish.

Someone attempted to route this guitar and cut off a good amount of the wood under the pickguard. Please study all photos for proper understanding of condition.

The pickups on this guitar are not the original pickups, the pickups are Custom Shop Seymour Duncan Antiquities that were put in more recently. Aside from the pickup switch, everything underneath the pickguard has been replaced.

WHATS ORIGINAL :

- Desert Sand Finish

- Tuners are original.

- Knobs are original.

- Bridge is original.

- Pick guard is original but has been sanded down to silver in place of the original gold finish.

- The frets and nut are original but are both really worn down and could both use replacing for this guitar to play it’s best.

One of the guitar straps (top one) has been replaced. The bottom one remains original.

There is a small surface crack near the headstock (pictured) nothing serious but worth mentioning nonetheless. I had a luthier take a look at this guitar and they noted that it was nothing to be concerned about.

This guitar could absolutely use a good setup, I have no clue how long it’s been since it’s been setup but since it’s been in my ownership I have not had it setup, only restrung for the purpose of this sale.

There is a good amount of wear on the body, on the back of the guitar someone carved their initials into the finish. Also at one point there might have been a sticker on the guitar that was removed as there is a rectangular shape on the finish.

Comes with original case, the case handle has been replaced.

Strings will be loosened for shipping, guitar will be packed as good as possible.
