1971 Fender "Telecaster Bass"
The Telecaster bass was introduced around 1967 as a refresher of the original Precision bass from the 1950s.
Fender's first Richie model

Same square edge slab body as the original, single coil pickup, 2-saddle design.
The string through bridge and head shape were also released with specifications similar to those of the 1950s.
Early necks had maple fingerboards, which were also used as genuine Telecasters at the time, and later versions had one-piece maple necks.
Also, in 1972, the pickup was changed to a humbucker specification, and it was produced until around 1979.

This time in stock is a 1971 Telecaster bass, the last generation of single coil pickups!
The neck uses a one-piece maple neck.

The body has been refinished in Burgundy Mist Metallic.
The pickup and pot are also original, and other than the replacement of the out jack and strap pin, the parts are also original.

It seems that many years have passed since the replacement itself, and there are some natural scratches that occur during use.
You can also see some scratches on the lacquer finish itself.

As for the sound, when used with flat strings, it produces a warm tone with a 50's flavor.
With round strings, it's a Telecaster bass with a good tone that gives you a glimpse of the energy of the 70's!
