I use this unit to synchronise my dawless set up (featuring MPC Live, Organelle M, Teenage Engineering OP-Z, volca keys and Nord Drum 3P), and analog recordings on my Zoom LiveTrak 12.

How it works:

I record a (SMPTE) sync code onto track 12 of my Zoom LiveTrack. I connect the PPS-100's MIDI OUT to my MPC Live MIDI IN.

When I play the track on the Zoom, it plays the converted SMPTE code as MIDI Clock or MTC (with Song Position Pointer) and synchronises with anything recorded via MIDI on the MPC Live. So I have unlimited MIDI (plus the MPC's 8 audio tracks) as well as the 11 remaining analog (digital) audio tracks on the Zoom.

The same system I used when I was a professional record producer (only in those days it was syncrhonising 2 inch tape and a MPC 3000!)

An absolute bargain (these come up from the US every so often, but in good nick they're much more expensive, and the postage costs a fortune).

Comes with manual and power supply.

It's the perfect set up!
