Gibson J-45 Red

Description

Working horse "J-45". A jumbo model with a round shoulder body representing Gibson. The 1967 and 1969 models are popular among the many historical specifications, and among them, the color model from this period is one of the most popular models in the vintage market, as it is rare to see conservative flat tops. This is a 1968 bottle with a dignified faded cherry red color. Spruce top, mahogany sides and back, mahogany neck, Jacaranda fingerboard and top belly bridge, rosewood adjustable saddle, double line Kluson pegs, double ring rosette, nut width approx. 39.5mm neck, 14 degree head angle, non-scalloped X Bracing, red finish. Originally, the standard color of J-45 was sunburst, and J-50 with natural finish is available as a color variation model. Other colors should not exist except for some made-to-order products, but ebony black and cherry red were released as special colors only at this time, and this type of J-45 was the only one available. It has a unique design with a white pickguard mounted with screws. This instrument has a strong appearance due to its age and a good sound. It has a dark and muddy sound typical of a 45 of this era. It has good overtones, is not metallic, and has a fast time feel with a narrow neck and an irresistible deep body resonance. There is some touch-up on the 6th string side of the bridge, but other than that it is in good condition with no cracks. The pickguard logo is still firmly intact, and you can see that it has been carefully and firmly inserted. The neck area is also in good condition and maintains an easy-to-play action. In recent years, the original custom color J-45 has rarely been seen. This is a highly recommended item for players who want to use it while playing well. Please don't miss it and check it out.
