This is an attractive dreadnought custom model that uses rare Carpathian spruce for the top. Only 5 pieces were produced at the time.
The sides and back are made of Indian rosewood, but it is also important that the wood was selected by Martin.
Let's start with the head.
The head logo is a large type Golden Era decal, and the pegs are Grover's open gear back type. There is no problem around the pegs. There are string winder scratches, corner scratches, dents, and dullness of the paint.
The neck is made of mahogany with a satin finish, has an adjustable rod, has a smooth Low Profile shape, and has a 42.9mm nut width, so anyone can play it easily. There are also scratches and dents on the back of the neck due to use.
The fingerboard is black ebony with dot inlay position marks.
There is some wear on the frets (1st and 3rd strings of the 1st and 2nd strings), but it's not at a level that would cause problems for playing, and the remaining frets are sufficient.
This model also features a high figured flamed core for the heel cap and a high figured flamed core for the body binding. Rosetta has a simple style 28, but the body binding gives it an elegant appearance.
There are many scratches and dents on the entire body, but no major damage such as cracks. The pickguard is a tortoiseshell pattern type, the bridge is black ebony, and the saddle is a short saddle.
The top has a clear finish, but there is some discoloration that is appropriate for the age.
The bracing is forward shift scalloped bracing, so you can enjoy powerful D sound with sufficient volume. Carpathian spruce has characteristics similar to Adirondack spruce, with a delicate yet powerful sound.
Other than that, the neck condition is good, and the current string height is approximately 2.6 mm for 6 strings and 12F, and approximately 1.7 mm for 1 string. Nuts, saddles and bridge pins have been replaced.
There are no performance problems, so you can use it immediately.
A custom shop wooden selection plate is also included!
