Prosegue la ristampa cronologica dei Peanuts, ovvero noccioline o anche personcine di Charles M. Schulz. Il piccolo mondo di quello che è stato chiamato senza esitazioni da Umberto Eco "un Poeta" si è ormai irradiato in tutto il resto del grande mondo. Non a caso, l'autore di Apocalittici e Integrati ha definito così il grande narratore a fumetti di St. Paul (Minnesota) e ha spiegato il perché del suo giudizio. "Quan-do dico 'poeta' lo dico per fare arrabbiare qualcuno. Gli umanisti di professione, che non leggono i fumetti; e coloro che accusano di snobismo gli intellettuali che fingerebbero di amare i fumetti. Ma sia bene inteso: se 'poesia' vuole dire capacita di portare tenerezza, pietà, cattiveria a momenti di estrema trasparenza, come se vi passasse attraverso una luce e non si sapesse più di che pasta sian fatte le cose, allora Schulz è un poeta...». Il gruppo di personcine cresce e si fa sentire, parla sommessamente ma irresistibilmente al cuore di tanti. È esplosa una grande cotta per Charlie Brown e compagnia.
