Antique 17" Schildkrot Doll, Celluloid with Leather Body, Redressed, New Wig. Turtle in diamond mark on back.  Glass sleep eyes, no upper eyelashes, mouth has teeth. Her nose has a bump on the tip with a short crack. Leather body is in really nice shape. The upper arms have been repaired where they attach to the shoulder.  Left arm is missing the back of the hand and 2 fingers. The other arm and legs have no damage. My Great Aunt (born in the 1890's) gave her doll to my Mother in the late 1920's to play with. My Mother made the dress and bought the wig, socks & shoes at a doll show in the 1990's. Always has been in non-smoking homes.
