We received the Gibson LespaulStudioCustomShopEdition on consignment. We determine that the year is 1993 from the serial and PodDate.
According to the client, a repair shop repaired the break near the boundary between the head and neck, and the CutomShop Edition logo was on it before the repair. From this, it seems that this model was ordered by a dealer at the time. Although it has not been officially identified, we assume that the color is Cadillac Green. The dark metal green color is impressive and has a strong presence. The pegs have been replaced and the tuning is not affected, but there is some wobbling. The strap pin has also been replaced with a Schaller lock pin.
There are scratches, dents, dullness of parts, etc., but I think it has been weather checked and has a very atmospheric appearance.
The neck has a relatively slim impression like a 60's. As for the tone, it's subjective, but the slightly sharp mid-high range in the thickness brings out the distorted drive feeling and the clean outline, and it's a pleasant sound that combines the wood and 490 498. A very cool Les Paul studio. Please consider this opportunity.
