The Les Paul Studio is a model that simplifies the decoration of the Les Paul and reduces costs.
The wood and pickups are the same as those used in the standard, but we have lowered the grade of the wood and eliminated the binding around the neck and body to reduce costs.
The pickup is probably a 57 Classic mount. It was originally a model with a high gain 490 series pickup mounted, so it seems to have been replaced.
Pots and capacitors have probably been replaced with better ones than the originals.
The top material is maple and the back is mahogany, traditional Les Paul wood materials, and outputs the same sound as the Les Paul standard.
Originally, the Les Paul Junior was released as a cheaper version of the Les Paul, but the sound character itself is a guitar with a different personality, so now the Les Paul Junior is not a cheaper version, but a guitar different from the Les Paul Standard. That's how it is treated.
This Les Paul Studio has a common structure and was developed as a high cost performance model that is completely Les Paul standard.
It is a popular model that continues to be part of Gibson's regular lineup, undergoing model changes every year to this day.
Although it has some weight, the weight gives it a solid sound with a tight sound output.
I wondered if people of this age didn't undergo so-called weight relief, and when I looked into it, it turned out that they did, although it was not made public.
I want a Les Paul, but I can't afford to buy a standard one...
