Unused, reproduction "Love's Secret" Valentine's Day mechanical greeting card originally published by Ernest Nister, England, ca. 1880s-1890s, from the Hallmark Historical Collection. Shaped as a 4 3/4 x 5 in. heart with blue forget-me-nots surrounding a clock of hearts that correspond to the roman numerals and a paper wheel inside that rotates Cupid at center. As his arrow crosses each heart a hidden message or image of a beauty is revealed. Cupid and chapter ring are embossed with metallic gold accents. Printed in USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ and assembled in Mexico πŸ‡²πŸ‡½. Comes with a 5 x 7 1/8" unlined ivory envelope with Hallmark crown logo embossed on flap (probably associated and not original to card).


Card is in perfect, like new condition. Envelope is creased along top of flap (slightly visible at top of pics).  


Card is undated but has been stored with other greeting cards and stationery from the 1980s-1990s (also being listed) for the past 20+ years.
