This paperback brochure was issued by "Cook's World Travel Service" and is titled "Summer Holidays in Switzerland Season 1949".  The brochure has details about holidays in a wide variety of places across Switzerland with some "two-centre" holidays, details of flying to Switzerland, escorted tours, motor coach tours, some general information and lots of adverts for hotels.  For each holiday, there are details of prices, excursions, departure dates etc.   Some excellent b/w photographic images of hotels.  52 pages in total.  Interesting piece of travel history.   The item measures 14.2cm x 21.7cm and opens out to double the width to form a booklet with staples at the left hand side.

The booklet is in a good condition.  General edge, spine end and corner rubs.  When opened out there are creases at top corners, light creases, light browning and several small tears at front edge of first two pages, small mark at bottom of spine on first page, some light grubbiness and tiny marks to first page, some light browning and grubbiness and some light creases to rear cover, numerous small tears at bottom rear edge, some light creases and some small tears at top and front edges of rear cover, rubbing and light grubbiness along spine, small splits at staples, some light horizontal creases at spine front and rear, very small loss and a 1cm split  at bottom of spine, rusting to staples with small brown marks, very small split and crease at top of spine, small loss and tear at top of central fold on rear cover, slope and some uneveness to front page edges, light grubbiness to page edges, a little very light browning and the odd tiny mark inside covers, the odd other small tear at front page edges, some light grubbiness / browning at edges of first page, light browning along the edges of pages, some very small and tiny creases at page corners, the odd very small and tiny mark here and there internally, the odd bump to edges of covers and pages.   Please check scans carefully as they help with the condition too.
