Polevoy Gennadiy Petrovich (1927-)

He was born in Odessa. He graduated from Kiev Institute of Art, V.Kasiyan;I.Pleshchynsky;O.Pashchenko were his teachers.In 1950 Gennadiy was arrested (with brother, composer Valeriy Polevoy). He was accused of the formation of anti-Soviet organization. He worked at hard labor in Siberia. His works are in the museum of Ukraine. Also graphic artist, symbolist. People's Artist of Ukraine. Active in Kiev.
